Do you know that there are different types of Bridal Bouquets? I was conducting my usual research and digging on the internet, and I was amazed at the different types and styles of bouquet I found. Round, Cascade, Arm Sheaf, Pomander, teardrop they are so many. Your choice of bouquet will depend largely on the style of your dress, your wedding theme, your flower preference etc. To start off the bridal bouquet series, we will begin with the two I like best, (permit my bias) *wink* The Cascade and The Arm Sheaf Bouquet Styles.
THE CASCADE – This bouquet is also known as the teardrop bouquet or trail bouquet. It is the most traditional and formal of all bouquets. The cascade bouquet is designed to spill gracefully over the bride’s hands while flowing downward. Any flower can be used for this bouquet style. The bouquet was renamed the princess in honour of the late Princess Diana and her impressive bridal bouquet.
THE ARM SHEAF – The Arm Sheaf bouquet also known as the presentation bouquet are long stemmed flowers. It is easy and comfortable to carry, especially when walking arm-in-arm down the aisle. The flowers are cradled in your arm, to the side, and this is good because it does not cover up the details of your dress.

I hope we have learnt something today about bouquets and how to choose wisely. The next Bridal Bouquet Series comes up Tuesday next week, so stay tuned.
